INTRODUCTION TO ALEXI WORKFLOWS
What is a Workflow?
Think of it as a shortcut within Alexi to complete a task.
Rather than entering a long sequence of individual prompts to get some end-to-end legal work product, Alexi workflows are a series of prepackaged prompts that produce an end-to-end work product in a single click.
Workflows allow you to:
- Automate repetitive, high-volume tasks across analysis, summarization, reporting, and charting.
- Produce reliable, client-ready outputs that uphold the firm’s reputation for quality.
- Embed firm best practices and playbooks directly into repeatable automations.
HOW TO RUN A WORKFLOW
Here’s a short video showing you how to run a Workflow.
Always start by uploading any relevant documents that you want the workflow to use as source material. Workflows require documents to be present within a matter in order to run successfully.
Then, there are two ways to run a Workflow:
1. Workflows Button
- Click the Workflows button at the bottom of your screen.
- Next, select the relevant Workflow that you want to run.
- Finally, hit “Enter”.
- Alexi will run the workflow, unless it has clarification questions for you first.
2. Using natural language
- If you know the name of the workflow you want to run, simply hit the @ symbol when typing in your command, then type in the name of the relevant workflow.
- Hit “Enter”
